I drove a my lifted cherokee with a welded rear end around in the snow and ice in 2wd... never lost control... Figure if I can do that... nobody gets an excuse.
That being said... I spun my YJ out several times trying to do the same thing, and its open diff
What the hell is black ice? Isn't ice clear? Would it be called "red ice" if we were dealing with brick roads? Perhaps "gray ice" occurs on bridges and over passes? Is it "blue ice" when a lake, river, stream, or pond freezes over?
I can always tell when there's about to be something really stupid said on the news if they say black ice....
I really hope all of those cases are thrown out and they all get ticketed for any number of speeding infractions. I bet they were all aging, liberal, hippy, douchebags too!
