Rear axle droop

I'm in the middle of 4 linking the rear of my XJ and have come to the point of notching my rear crossmember for the driveshaft. I'm not sure how much droop I should allow the rear axle as I don't want to cut much away from the crossmember if I don't have to. How much full downward movement do you 4 link guys allow? The XJ is going to be used primarily for the rocks.

That's all dictated by the specifics of your build. By now, don't you have a good idea of ride height and available uptravel? shock travel - uptravel = downtravel..
