I come up with 2.73 with that tooth count. Are your sure you counted correctly?

If it is a 4.2 and 5 speed it is normally 3.07 or 3.55. Did you check both diffs for a tag.

x2, the best way to check is count the teeth and correctly do the math...30 / 11 = 2.73

Now, I didnt think that ratio apeared in YJ's...are you sure this R&P are out of that YJ? If you told me it was a 89 YJ 4.0L 5 speed, I would have said 3.07

hey

you divide the drive into the driven. I just did and go 0.366667 so 3.65 3.66 should be right by your calculations. Trust me I'm a professional. Now If you tooth count is right thats your ratio, just remember you divide drive (pinion) into driven (ring).
