Rear Locker Issue

Hey y'all. I have a 06 rubicon and am having trouble with the rear locker. I've had it working just fine before. Now when i go to lock the front and rear, the front will lock, but the rear will just flash for a long time as if its still attempting to engage. I'm not sure how to go about fixing this and i've been looking online and just not finding any help.
So, PLEASE HELP!!!:shaking:

Thanks guys!

Most likely it is the air line to the axle or the one inside to the actuator. Check to make sure it is still attached to the diff on the passenger side. It is just a push on hose. Most people zip tie it on so it stays.

On the inside line, lots of times the hose comes off due to the pitiful little clamp they installed on it from the factory.

If you want, bring it by ECGS, we can take a look. You are not far from us. It is probably something simple but could be an issue with the locker itself.

Also if your pumps are in the stock location on the skid plate it could have gone bad. First thing I would do is with the key on but motor off shift in to 4 lo and hit the rear locker and see if the rear pump comes on. depending on how good your hearing is you may have to be under the Jeep. I remember being able to hear the hum though with my head still in the jeep. Good luck.

Wow, thanks guys!:driver:
I hope its the easier way out, and I just end up having to slide the hose back on or drain the diff and reconnect...

ABadJeeper, if it was to be just my luck and be the pump, do you know how much those cost and how hard it is to install? I would think it wouldn't be to hard, just a simple bolt and plugs, but i've thought that before and well, it didn't go so according to plan!

They take about 15 minute to change out. Just unplug the hose and harness. As for cost I have no idea what they cost these days. I relocated mine up in the engine compartment to keep them out of the water when I lived in Jersey so I never had to replace mine. We had to do my cousins though and I don't remember what he paid for his replacement pump.

I really appreciate it! Is it hard to relocate it in the engine area? I'm considering a snorkel for some deep creek crossings around me, so it sounds like it is smarter to relocate it if i have to mess with it.

Alright, sweet. I really appreciate it.

So I went underneath the jeep while a friend tried to engage the lockers. I only hear a pump go off when he pushes it where both are being turned on, so I believe it to be the front locker pump that I hear. Since the rear doesn't even try to pump, it seems like its the pump or hopefully just a electrical line disconnected. I think it could be a line disconnected because I've taken the skid off a few times and last time i did i think i remember seeing a blue wire just hanging near the compressors.
