I have a 99' TJ with 6" of lift and 35's, weekend driver, occasional offroader. Should I eliminate the rear swaybar? I have disconnects on the front, I never hear anyone mention the rear sway bar.

I had discos in the front of my TJ w/ 33s and had the rear sway bar removed. When it was connected up front I had no problems driving around on mountain roads.

I hated mine on the road with no rear swaybar. It was very squirrelly during emergency braking. On the trail the body roll was just short of frightening with both the front and rear disconnected. I have heard the argument for years that you don't gain any usable articulation in the rear by disconnecting. I haven't scientifically evaluated that statement but the seat of my pants agrees.

I always Left my rear on my zj connected it still had very good articulation on the trail...of course the rear sway on my zj is like a toothpick but still.

I ditched mine as soon as I got my lift. Iam only on 4.5 with short arms though. Mine did make a huge difference once I got extend shocks, I can't tell any difference with my front hooked up on the road.

I had to mess with my rear trac bar mount awhile back and had to remove the rear swaybar, deceided since it was off to leave it off. I hated the extra body roll with it off, especially when I was wheeling it just seemed like it was always trying to lay on it's side. I quickly put it back on, there might have been a bit more flex with it off but not enough to justify the excessive body roll for me.
