looking for pictures of rear tube fender flares. I like the smittybilt style but was told by 4wheelparts that I would have to use the protective corners as well. looking for just the flares not corners.

You do not have too, promis ya that, i am curently running them and they are doing well, see avatar picture

Like Jason said, you don't have to run corners to run the rear tube flares. My only concern with that is the fact that you're putting something rigid and stronger than your stock sheetmetal sticking out from your jeep. When a factory flare contacts something (a tree, rock, etc) the flare gives so no damage is transmitted to your tub. With a tube flare, the flare isn't going to give at all so all of the force will be transmitted to your tub; that's where corners come in handy.

It's true Shawn, you don't have to run the corner armor, you can always wait til you trash your tub on a rock and then cover it up with some armor.:flipoff2:

I got the xrc tube flares, no corners and the ONLY problem is the shitty powder coat from the factory. PLAN on sandblasting them, soon, OR painting them as soon as you get them.

They held up in my drivers side flop, no real body damage, but my tires do stick out more than the tube flares, so the jeep sorta rested on them after it settled on its side.

For the price they are awesome. Order from 4wd.com and use code ju4wddis1 for 5% off.
