rear waggy dana 44 disc brake swap

I've been told that it's pretty easy to swap the drums on a waggy 44 rear axle to disc brakes. Wondering if anyone here has done it and what parts were used.

I used A&A manufacturing weld on brackets with '92 s10 front calipers and 1989 chevy stepside front rotors. You want the rotors that are 1" thick not 1.5".

What did you do for an e brake?

what I did in the past is to use a mechanical style line-lock. tie it in to the rear brake line. pump the brake pedal and flip the lever. the rear brakes stay locked, providing the calipers don't leak. not to used as a long time i'e' days at a time.

Dana 44 from a 93-97 Isuzu Rodeo would be a simple swap too.
