rear xj shocks

can anyone tell me the best way to get the rear shock bolts out of a 94 xj ? And yes 3 out of 4 are broke off after two cans of pb blaster !!!!! any help would be great !

that sucks. When it happened to me, I was lucky that I had already removed the back seat and all carpet, and didnt care about the body. I cut an access hole from above, then beat/ground the weld nuts out.

thats the route i was heading just wanted 2 c what someone else had done ! sounds like its going to be a long fun sunday

When they broke on mine, I just drilled them out and ran some self tapping bolts. They have held up great

Drill them out. Next time try some heat from a MAPP torch, usually works for me.

thanks for the info after to drill bits and some cold beer the rear shocks are in !!!!!!!! ready to hit the woods
