I finshed putting my 8.8 on my tj last night. I noticed this morning that the drivers side sits further to the rear than the pass side by about an inch.

I have fixed lowers and adj uppers. The driverside adj upper is extended out about an inch farther than the pass side too, but that wouldn't be the cause, or would it?

I set the pinion angle, installed the pass adj upper, then the drivers adj upper.

If anyone knows what would cause this and how to fix it please let me know. Is is safe to drive like this? It it going to cat walk down the road? wear tires quicker?

Thanks in advance.

The rearend is centered under the jeep from side to side its off from front to back (if that makes any sence). Measureing from rim lip to rim lip on ds is 81.5 and on pass side from rim lip to rim lip is 80.5

haha oh ok i had that problem too. :shaking: but that was because i DIDNT have adjustable control arms with 4.5 inches of lift. i had a 3 inch kit with new fixed control arms and then i put spacers on it, which made it 4.5 inches on 3 inch control arms, thus the problem. how much is it lifted? my rear axle was crammed towards the front of the jeep, with a lot of room behind it. is that what you are saying?

I only have 2 inch spacers. pass side tire is centered in the wheel well and drivers side is not. its pushed towards the front of the wheel well.

I did alot of measuring tonight and came to the conclusion that the initial measurments from wheel to wheel were off. Yes i'm an idiot.
