Recent Uwharrie pics, Daniel

Anyone have some recent pics of the first ledge on Daniel? We have a group heading to Uwharrie this weekend and a few members are getting scared of Daniel after watching YouTube videos. I haven't been since this time last year, so wondering what it looks like now.
 
Almost exactly like it was at this time last year only about 4 ft wider...
 
A stock TJ can walk Daniel. I don't see any reason why a Zuk wouldn't do the same.

We ran it in the dark about a month ago with two sleeping babies in the back seat.

Not worried about me... but I won't be in the Zuk anyway.
 
The line to the right gets almost anything up. And we should just call it "The Ledge on Daniel" since there isn't a 2nd ledge anymore. Sad to find that out a couple weeks ago on my first trip back in four years.
 
Yeah, I ran it in an open/open XJ on 31's a few years ago. Like I said, just wanted to see what it was like before recommending what the Newbies do.

Would have been even smoother if the shlub behind you hadn't gotten stuck in the hole just after the ledge.:shaking:

While Daniel is currently the most challenging trail in URE, it is really an intermediate trail at best compared to other trail systems.

Agreed. Uwharrie is a great place to go trail ride where all kinds of rigs can have fun, but anyone who thinks Daniel (or even Kodak Rock) is extreme wheeling is really missing out. Go to Harlan once and your opinion will change.

read through the comments, they asked him if he wanted to be pulled off. He kept saying no so they left him.... idiot jumping on the hood is what got me. What was he going to do if it suddenly got traction...

Yeah I've seen the video before. He's a riot to watch. Never a dull moment with Brett and his buddies around. Met him out at URE one year and seen a few videos of him rolling around.
