Found a good deal on a built up XJ this past weekend. Couple friends at ECGS said it was a fellow members ECORS Jeep.

Picked it up in Greenville, SC. Doesn't really need much. Bought it needing a a front axle shaft and some minor odds and ends.

Anyways, I'm just getting it squared away for an NC inspection.

Looking for a set of street 35-38's as well!

Solid XJ for sure!

I've heard some good stories. Looks to be done pretty well.

I believe the tube work was recently done by Metalwerx also. @ol'Jeeps

Fyi, Brandon drove it often on the street with the creepies.

They're not stickies, but was still told I'll tear them up quick on the street. Just looking to cruise around Raleigh. Not a daily driver by any means

Heres the build thread for it originally.

Rides new ECORS A class unit

I believe it's changed some since this even. I know that it would take a beating and still drive home.

That thread was forwarded to me a few days ago. It looks like the original stuff is all still there. I'm curious about the motor and trans. Sounds like it has a little pep and shifts firm.

Pretty stoked to get in the trails. Hoping to make the Flats or Shop trip later this month. It'll be at URE Easter weekend as well.

Yes. Rode with him while we did a lot of stupid shit in this rig. Just saying...
Not that i have ever done stupid shit while wheeling.

@buddyantunez1 if that 5th creepy is a 37x12.5r16, I can help you turn it in to cash. I need one.

That rig has at least 1 A class win to its name.

We built this rig at Rides around 2010...soon after it opened. It was the first XJ we built with those boat sides. it was a near perfect very low mile XJ. Andy Williams had us do the front tube work and the new shock mounts for the taller shocks. Andy was the last owner i knew of.

its a great rig, for sure! Nice buy!

Thanks for all the info guys!

Anyone know a little more about the motor? Sounds like it has a little cam.

Getting it ready for an NC inspection. Horn installed. Anyone know if NC requires reverse lights?

Perfect, thanks!

Now I just need the wiring diagram to splice in the speed sensor wiring to the nv241or. It throws a CEL for it.

Ideas on where to locate that? Lots of talk on the forums, but i haven't seen anything yet.
