I'm at my parents' housei n Cary right now cleaning out my room, they're selling it soon :-(

There are a bunch of old trophies here I don't care about - baseball (5?) and soccer(9?). From the 80s, the figures feel like plastic that is colored brass/silver, but the bases are heavy like marble/granite/etc.
Could/would these be of any use to anybody? They just have engraved plates, easy enough to remove, I'm sure.

i could just throw them away, but I'm thinking if there's any way they could be used to, say, give to a kid who deserves it or something, i'd prefer that. Is there any good way to "recycle" them?

Heck somebody could comege them from me today, PM for an addy/ number.

They're selling your room? Weird. I guess if they made you, though, it stands to reason...

Selling the HOUSe jackass, the bedroom unfortunately is kind of expected to come with the rest of the package.

Is there any value to an old glass bottle of coke, from say the late 80s (guess) that has never been opened?
how abou ta matchin can of Jolt Cola?

Nobody wants any debate club, science fair trophys, or Beta club trophys either.:flipoff2:

which is good b/c I didn't get any of those.

I was a different kind of geek back then - spent all my time in band.
Did do Science Olympiad once just to impress a girl, but that ended badly anyway.

Lets hear some ..''one time at band camp'' stories.

oh yeah, on a serious note...what does the fluid in the coke bottle look like? Is it seperating and breaking down?

Actually, no. The one in the glass bottle looked perfectly normal, although it didn't fizz when shaken.

There was also one in a plastic bottle - that one was pretty funny, the bottle was all caved in (so it was essentially a square, ever take a bottle down a big altitude change?) but when shaken, still fizzy! That one went in the trash... I did seriously consider trying it though.

Jolt cola can - you can depress the sides, like no longer has pressure, but still sealed.
