Can't make it to ECORS at the Flats? Enter a chariot Race!!

Pretty much all the info you need to know is on the website, the race is Friday, April 16.
Red Bull is having a chariot race at NCSU, teams of three, chariots are to be built out of stuff you have lying around or to be had for cheap.
I made our mock craft out of an old bed frame and pieces of shipping crates we had sitting around at Red Bull. The only things I had to buy were wheels and steel rod for an axle. You should be seeing it around NCSU campus and the surrounding area.

We are looking for an announcer for this event, ideally with NCSU ties, if outside of NCSU with strong Raleigh knowledge. You/they will be compensated, not sure of how much though.

i'd think there woulkd be a serious advantage to building the thing out of aluminum and strong plastic. That wood looks HEAVY.
 
I was going to say something last week but NCSU didn't get added to the website until today or yesterday. I had to wait for the site to get updated.

they didn't play this past season because they decided to add seats onto the end of the stadium, so they could give the students a crappy seat!

i was just kidding im really a tar heel fan at heart so!:flipoff2:

but since i go to ecu i still have to pull for them plus its such a great atmosphere
