Red Paint?

I have bought 2 diffrent types of red paint, and everytime I spray it, it turns out more orange, I am looking for just A dull red paint, that will be red, if you look at my avatar you can see what I mean about the orange, that paint is safety red, (rustolium paint) anyway anyone know were I can get some cheap paint that will be red when I spray it? Exsample of what I want is like and old toyota red that has aged.

look for Ford Tractor red.
the famous red belly is about as red as you can get,

Looks red to me...

What they said on coats and primer. Maybe a white primer and 3 coats.

Expirement on a hidden part of the body - inner fender well, inside rear gate, under carpet on floorboard.

Southern Aerosols in Cleveland, NC can get you a red, custom match aswell. It won't be cheap but it will be red.

Well I painted over like an orange color, but I sanded it and stuff, I might have messed the color up when I thinned it for the gun, did you thin yours or what?

X3 on the primer or under-coat. Try a gray primer on a test piece...

Yes, I thinned it per the directions. I have a funny feeling your orange is messing with the color.

You are probroly right, I guess I will throw A coat of grey primer on it and spray it again, and see, I have plenty left, plus just part of it is red anyway. Do you have any pics of what you painted with the rustolium so I can compare?
