Has anyone had gears done by 4wp? Is it worth getting the warranty if there is a 10yr warranty on ring and pinion?

Thanks

You wont be sorry.

@Cperry is as good as it gets and just happens to be in your back yard

When I bought my 89 4runner. the PO had the ring and pinion setup at 4wheel parts. 20k miles later I had missing teeth on my ring and pinion and the rear end howling. Truck hadn't been taken offroad yet. 4wheel parts did warranty the ring and pinion, gave me a brand new set. But I had to buy a master install kit and set it up myself. Might be different if it occurred to the original purchaser, but I was pretty happy they warrantied the ring and pinion itself.

I bet that is standard operating procedure... They give you the r&p but the install kit and labor is not included
