Registration/Inspection question

Well shoot...if we’re counting Jack stand rigs...I have 2 that are 7 years out...but are insured.

Sadly, mine's on tires and driveable.

I just... haven't.

I also got $600 worth of catalytic converters in the back that have waited over a year to be installed!

My TJ is 24 months out of date... just sitting in the garage with insurance on it.

Maybe this summer I'll get it caught up.

I'm on about the 3rd or 4th iteration of that cycle, including

I guess at some point I need to cancel the insurance. But when I start thinking like that, I decide I should go get it inspected instead...Vicious cycle!

If it is registered in an emissions county, they should have done emissions testing on it. Doesnt matter where it is inspected.

I guess it depends on the shop. We were an emissions county here, just a few years ago. Many of the shops still have the equipment, as there are a few counties around us that require testing.

Shops in surrounding counties here that are safety only have the emissions equipment to inspect vehicles for my vehicles that require emissions.

Correct. A shop in a safety only county can deny emissions testing. The dmv can probably care less they just want money let’s be honest haha
