relocating licence plate bracket

I installed led tail lights on my jeep and I was wondering where to relocate the license plate frame

what do the two things have to do with each other?

did you lower the tail lights when you went with LED's?

if you still have the full sheet metal in the rear, a lot of people will take the license plate bracket off and bend the plate slightly around the "corner" of the Jeep and just bolt it straight to the body...

Well i'd venture to say he has a CJ and the licence plate bracket attaches behind the tail light

a have a cj tub w/ leds ,did what greg said bent it & bolted it. now trees dont catch it

Actually I'd bet that since he put LED taillights on it they no longer light up the lic. plate like the OEM ones did. See if you can get some LED lic plate lights. I know lexus uses them but not sure I've seen aftermarket ones, but if you do find 'em, let us know. I want some.

gmac on the board flush mounted his stock lights. he used bolts to hold the license plate on that have led's in them. pm him about them, that should clear up any legal issues you're worried about as far as lighting of the plate.

I've seen some of those at advance auto - but in green, red, blue etc... I have also seen those on Q-trec.

I got the bracket with my lights that has the 3rd brakelight and licence light...
