Relocation to Statesville?

NC native who spent most of my time in the Triangle area.
May get a job offer in Statesville. If so, any good/bad comments about the area I should consider in advance?

Not a huge amount going on there, but if you need to know about Cellphone coverage, I can help you out.:rolleyes:

There are a good number of trails fairly close by, you would be much closer to the moutains too, if that is something that interests you.
 
I live in Statesvegas, like uglyjeep said, not a whole lot of things to do, but we are quickly growing. Also, your 15 min from mooresville, 20 from hickory and 30 from winston. So its pretty cool. Theres a few wheelers here. Wheres the job at? I may be able to tell you something about the place.
 
just stay out of Mooresville, "Home of the worste traffic ever!" They call it Race City, but there's not much moving very quickly there!

20 minutes from hickory?!

How do you get there?! I worked in statesville over the summer, and it took me a good 30-45 minutes to get there

I live in hickory.
 
Starting from walmart, it takes 20 minutes to drive to lenior ryhne blvd. I actualy live in stoney pt. it takes me about 15 min.
