At 12:55 pm eastern time today is the 80th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor. Take a moment to remember all that were lost and never forget the cost of freedom.

Saw this piece on the news this morning. It's a shame there arent more stories like it on the news.

Honestly I am surprised there are that many remaining. Definitely need to take time to appreciate their life, and all they gave to the country. The world/country would likely be in a much better place, if everyone would take time and listen and think about what these men have to say.
 
Ate lunch with a friend at a Japanese restaurant yesterday. Place was packed. I found that odd. Maybe it's sublimal messaging with posts about Pearl Harbor Day making us think of Japanese people, and then wanting Japanese food. I asked the waitress for free lunch bit she didn't seem amused. No worries, I don't think she was Japanese anyway.

Probably Kai-ree-un and just the other day we lost the last remaining badass of Easy Company. There’s some left, but they’re going fast.
