I say go with fox. There may be slightly better options, but Fox IMO is the best bang for your buck plus Carolina Truggies stocks pretty much any part you could need ever for them locally. Lengh of travel will vary on every vehicle. You may be able to fit a 14" travel shock but the springs may only allow for 10" of actual movement. Then the extra length would be a waste or make you sacrifice valuable up travel. How high are your bump stops from the axle? How much droop do you have?
