Ive got an 88 yj 6 cyl. that just about all the vaccum lines have been taken off was just wondering is there any I have to keep im not sure to what extent I can go. Ive done the nutter bypass to get rid of the computer stuff. Now Ive got all these vaccum lines and stuff just kinda laying around the motor and Id like to clean them up.

I did the same thing to mt "90' Yj

Let me try to remember, well I did the MC2100 carb swap at the same time (highly recommended, Junkyard swap). I kept the PCV, the charcoal canister with all it's lines the EGR valve, & the CTO valve. Vacuum to the heater controls. If you don't have a posi-lok cable yet, you'll want to keep the front axle disconnect vacuum hooked up. Also the vacuum advance to the distributer (search & do the team rush upgrade). Here is the link;http://www.nc4x4.com/forums/showthread.php?t=46330&highlight=MC2100 You will see a post on this thread, with a bunch of links. Also do a search on this board for MC2100. There is lots of info to be had.

sounds great thanks for the info
PM me if you run into something & can't find an answer. I probably know where to look. When you finally do decide to do the MC2100, remember if i can do this anyone can. This is the only carb I ever rebuilt, & it works great. Added bonus, I know all about it now should it ever have any problems.
