Whats the best way to remove the factory Jeep decals without damaging the paint? I don't necessarily mind the "Jeep" decal, but would like to get rid of the "Wrangler" and "sport" decals.

Thanks everyone!

Use a hair dryer & warm them up as you peel. Helps to be in the sun. Then some adheasive remover.

Thanks guys! Will try it tonight. Hopefully I won't be the first to hook a hair dryer up to an extension chord!

we use a heat gun and they will peel right off. The eraser wheel works well you just have to be careful or it'll burn the paint.

Thanks for all of the feedback guys! I'm going to borrow a friend's heatgun and take some of the decals off this weekend. Will let you know how it turns out!

Used the eraser wheel on some DOT quality decals and it works very well.

Used the heat gun on some 20 year old decals and it work well, just takes longer...

Borrowed a 3M eraser wheel today, and had a good result. Still a little residue to get off, but happy with the result. Paint underneath still has sparkles! Also used it to get a couple that were on top of Rustoleum spray bomb, same result, no paint removal at all. Very happy.
About ready for my "UPNOVER II

Turned out pretty good! How long did that end up taking you?
