Still through stud until past the nut. It'll snap right off.
Been there, done that.

19mm and 3/4" are close enough that it really doesn't matter. I'm guessing you were using a 12point socket. A 6 point socket would have probably worked fine.Yeah I did attempt the 19mm as well, it could have been after I attempted the 3/4 though, it seemed like neither really fit it. Was probably just a matter of finessing it up on there, but the lug nuts were stupid tight as well which wasn’t helping me any. It was just an overall day of swearing and beating my head against the concrete over some dumb lug nuts. I pray the rears won’t be as bad but I’ll have my stick of dynamite ready just in case
This. I have never encountered a case where 19mm and 3/4 were not interchangeable. Difference is 0.05mm.19mm and 3/4" are close enough that it really doesn't matter. I'm guessing you were using a 12point socket. A 6 point socket would have probably worked fine.
I think this was the issue. I started with 6 pt socket and was having the worse time, but I think I switched to 12 pt, and maybe that’s what made it worse.This. I have never encountered a case where 19mm and 3/4 were not interchangeable. Difference is 0.05mm.
12pt sockets are the worst. I refuse to use them.
But, as mentioned a well made tight tolerance 6 pt is more susceptible to being hard to fit of if a corner has been bent over.
