Ok. Finally back from vacation and worked out the water damages, etc. Ended up saving me $6k. So that’s good. Nothing immediately needing attention but it will need some once these renters move out.
And, just received a copy of the lease. It’s pretty much a 9 page template from somewhere online. Very basic and boilerplate. Scares me as it doesn’t seem nearly solid enough.
Anyone have samples of what or where you get your lease agreements that you like? My attorney is reviewing it at the moment and she has a few rental properties herself, so I’m hopeful I’ll have something back from her that is pretty solid. But, looking for other ideas to consider as well.
