Sorry, I had to go back to work and I've been busy the last two days. I did get to talk with them. Come to find out they tried calling me back that day. Something went glitchy with Verizon and the guy said it went straight to voicemail. He left a message but I never got it. The guy was apologetic and said he was big on customer service. So much in fact, that he guaranteed me that he would have the equipment I needed next time even if he had to go rent it himself. We also were able to work out the financials, which I'm happy with.
All in all, a happy ending. I told him that I was hot the day I left and he told me that he was very aware of that kind of situation and again apologized. I'm glad to see there are some stand up folks left in the world. Yes, it was inconvenient and it wrecked my plans for the weekend but maybe it happened for a reason. Whatever that may have been. Now, the only thing I have left to do is wait till my shifts roll back around so can have that weekend off again.
Lastly, @jeepinmatt and @TARider thanks for online mention but these guys came through so if you don't mind let's delete that post. I'll edit mine as well.
