Repairing Spark plug wires

Have you ever have just one spark plug wire pull the metal clip off. Everywhere sells sets. Anybody got any suggestions? Is it me or it seems plug wire pulls apart easier nowadays? Anyways a semi-rant and asking advice. not wants to replace a plug wire set I just bought less than year ago because of one wire.
 
Auto Zone USED to carry individual wires behind the counter; I'm not sure if they still do. If the wire set is less than a year old, maybe they are covered under warranty?
