Replacing airbags in newer car?

So I just bought a 70k mile 6-spd 2012 Camaro at auction. I bought it to get the drivetrain out of for my 08 G8 GT, but looking at the pictures, it almost looks like it might be an easy fix. Front bumper replaced (although doesn't seem like an immediate concern), passenger side fender and door. The problem is that the passenger side seat airbag is blown along with the passenger side roof airbag. I can get the replacement airbags for like $400, but wondering how hard they are to install. I've done airbags in Jeeps before (unbolt, bolt in new one, new module and impact sensors) but never something new like this.

Anyone have any advice? I'm also ok with just cutting them out and patching up the opening although if I kept the car my wife wouldn't appreciate that.

Yeah, which I know cuts the value a lot. Still a pretty cool car that wasn't in that bad of an accident.
Fix it up, put some slicks and the biggest shot of nitrous you can get on it, and have a blast!
