Replacing ball joints

I pulled the ball joints on my 99 Wrangler due to all grease fittings being split. Is there a recomendation for putting them back in? Top or bottom first? I did put the ball joints in the freezer first to shring them. I got both lowers in pretty easy, just having a problem with the uppers...any Real help is extremely appreciated. And Im using the "rent-a-tool" press from Autozone.

Explains it pretty well. I've had good luck with just a little heat from a butane torch on the inner C as well.

Thanks, I'll try and pull the upper that was giving me issues, and re-seat it.

Thanks, got it done yesterday, and replaced tie rod end dust covers with polyeurothane ones.
