I'm trying to replace the CV halfshaft on my 95 Grand Cherokee and i cant get the three nuts holdin the hub assembly on to come loose. i had to put it in the shop to have the other CV halfshaft replaced an i dont wanna spend the money to put it in the shop again. does anyone have any suggestions on how to get these nuts loose without an air wrench?

13mm 12 point socket, ratchet, and a cheater bar. Stand on it til they turn. If that doesn't cut it, add some heat with a torch. Even just a propane torch will help. Your jeep lived in the north?

Tried a penetrating spray like PB Blaster? Spray the bolts down, "firmly" tap them with a hammer, let it sit for an hour or so, then try again. If that doesn't work, heat the bolts up with a torch and let them cool back down. The thermal expansion should help break loose whatever is seized. Also, when reinstalling, make sure to use some anti-seize, so it'll be easier next time!

I just pulled mine last week with 75000 New York miles they actually came out with little fuss (thats a first for this Jeep!!!!!)
Good luck!
