Our county has been using Google Maps and Street View for years to bust people.
I have a 10x12 platform I built in the back yard 2 years ago (no permit required) which may or may not end up with an identically sized shed on it at some point, which would have been difficult due to the locale to an easement...
In this case though.... there's already a roof and walls there. While it's certainly possible, I'd think it would take some pretty clever AI and a close eye to be able to tell the difference.
