a return of something to a former, original, normal, or unimpaired condition.
Why is it that people advertise things as "Restored" or Classic Restoration" when they are abviously nowhere near their original condition? Here are a couple of examples:

These are all obviously customized far beyond what was stock. I can understand bolting on a set of custom rims, but like the first one having a Chevy drivetrain, a fiberglass body and a tilt up fiberglass front end.... come on!!!! That Jeep is about as stock as Pamela Anderson.
