10 bucks to whoever finds my cellphone on Dutch John. (it might be on Falls Dam between Wolfs Den and the Big Mud hole.)

I have already replaced the phone....I don't expect to see it again. All I know I had it before going on Dutch John and I realized it was gone on Falls Dam.

It won't work....de-activated....but I would really like to get my numbers out of it.

I lost it Monday.

Thanks,

Matt

btw- don't carry your cellphone in a belt clip holder on the door side when wheeling doorless. :shaking:

I don't even keep my phone or wallet in my pockets on the doorless side. They always stay on my right side.

Heehee Catfishblues did the *same thing* Sunday... on the same trail...
Except in his defense he at least put it down when helping somebody... and realized it soo enough to get it...

Once I get to the UNF I just go ahead and turn it off and lock in the armrest... no coverage anyway, more safe that way.

Actually, I didn't set it down. This crap-ass belt clip I've got did a 180 and shook the damned thing out when I got out to help Jimi. I know how you feel, Matt. I was sick to my stomach when it happened. Ken was nice enough to take me to backtrack the trail. It actually ended up being kinda fun.

Advice: You should be able to get a USB cable for most cellphones. With this, you should be able to sync all your #'s onto your computer for backup purposes. You may be able to do it with the microSD card that comes in all of them now, too, but I'm not sure how. I need to do this. Sunday proved that to me.

Yeah, I lost numbers I'll probably never find again.

btw- pm me yours ...

when i upgrade to my new cell phone i kept the old one in my glovebox with a charger and still update it with new #'s whenever I am waiting on sombody and bored

that way when i lose this one (i work on the lake) all i have to do is put my old SIM card into a new phone and copy then put the new SIM back in the new phone and it takes about 1 min

also I have a backup that should work for 911 if i loose my phone or if it gets runover by a 52 I can still use the SIM card and put it into my old phone and have one until I get home

Buzz Kill

Yeah, that kind of sucked.

Mark stopped to give me a hand, and as we all know...no good deed goes unpunished.

Next thing you know, he's having to go & chase that phone down with Ken.

Still, we had a great time...and for the record, my doors were off, and my phone was on my RIGHT hip, next to the seatbelt.

Can't wait to go back.
