They are actually rivets. You can use either a hand riveter or an air powered gun. for the big rivets the air powered gun is awesome. But if your only using smaller rivets and little use a hand powered one. just use a welder. Funner, faster, get sun burn, and show off how good/bad you can weld.

Wasn't mine, was my buddies car. This is what happens when you don't pay attention. That and now since I am the go to person for any question about cars/trucks at school so I deal with well lets just say not so bright people.

I think several of us here have been "that guy" as one time or another. Don't worry. It gets easier to ignore them or charge them for the advice.

Answers are free, the work isn't. I would actually do more but my hs has a lot of upper mid class people with money and they take there stuff to the shop. I'm am def not one of those people, my truck is a virgin to shop hands, or at least since I bought it. I use shops for two things, inspections and ac work.
