Richland Rd

Anyone want to trail ride this weekend?
Is this area accessible anymore. i have never been. thought i was on the correct path a few months ago but ended up at a concrete bridge with private property signs. anyone have some solid information

the road itself is accessible its the properties on either side you have to stay off/out of.

Was just there today. The concrete bridge is private but the road runs through the creek and is public.

Be real careful about staying on the road and remember to tread lightly. Land owners are looking for any excuse.

Bud Light cans were everywhere!! SMH

Like everyone else has said stay on the trail and you will be fine. If you have never been go with someone that knows where they are going.

I go there quite often since it is close, and yes the ammout of trash is pretty bad.
I have talked to land owners back there a few times and all of them seem friendly, they just don't want their road torn to hell and trashed up.

When we lived up there we went often, hated to see all the trash especially at "the playground". We cleaned up several times but there was a burnt out car and other large debris up there too. Some people just don't get it.....

found a nice tow strap and shovel up there ....

I used to ride Richlands and Globe rd. all the time. Globe was cool because it was a big circle with a steep nasty hillclimb at the end.

My wife and I were out there about a month ago. Had a good time. We went alone and won't do that again, we went during the middle of the week and didn't see a soul. We came to the end of Richlands Rd expecting to come to a paved road. It wasn't so we turned around and retraced our steps. It was very pretty with many water crossings. It is confusing at first with all of the private property signs, but just stay on the "road". My wife is not that much into Jeepin but she does like to geocache and there are a number of caches along the road so that is how I get her off road with me.

Thanks for the info guys. I am heading up that way today. Anyone want to show a first timer up and down it? I'll be in the area anyway and would lke to finally check it out.

At the top end of the road once you cross the creek, take a left up the hill on the gravel rd to the top. Take a right on the paved road and it will come out on the parkway.

I've been a few times since posting this. First time at it I actually ran into a group that was going down it, so it turned out good. Fun ride. With all the rain it seems to get more challenging especailly at the beginning every time I have gone. The trash is getting bad, and now there is rattle can on multiple rocks along the trail. Time for a "clean up" ride?
