riding at uwharrie?

Hey man...when I get my Bronco up and going again, I'm game. I usually wheel alone as well...and it can make for some interesting times being unlocked and unwinched...but I've always made it back home. But I hear ya, would make things much easier and more fun if to have someone to roll with.

me and some guys may be going up friday night and camping riding sat am, heading home sat afternoon.. we always park in the double parking lot across from UHDG... your welcome to wheel with us.. we are all open f/r no winch...

Old Red01, I myself have to wheel alone sometimes, i find NC4x4 or other forums that are doing trail rides and show up. Its a awesome time! I should be heading up friday night for the SFWDA event like VortecJeep mentioned. If you ever want to wheel give me a shout. BTW what are the specs of your rig?

if you know where the double lot is it wont be hard to find us... my white 92xj, green yj, all blacked out 2500, not sure who else is going...ill pm youthurs or fri more info...

I cant say that I have seen it as I've only been a handful of times haha, but with 4" and 33's you could do alot up there!

X2 and a posi-lock.... like i said im open f/r 4.5in lift 32s

yea i do ok up there i just need some lockers i hate getting up on a rock and a wheel starts spinning lol but i dont have that $430 for a locker right now since my tires are slick all my money has been saved for them im hoping to get them within the next 2 weeks...if you want to give me ur number i will give you a call 95GranZJ so we can meet up and ride

I was told by a few people I could do pretty much everything except Daniels
I have a 95 GC RE 3.5"SF and 32's open F/R

When Daniel is DRY an open/open rig can do it. You just have to have the clearance/suspension and a good spotter. We took an open/open Cherokee on 33x10.5 BFG A/Ts up it in late April. The thing is he had the lift/suspension to keep his tires on the ground. Keep your tires on the ground and with a good spotter the only big obstacle that is the First Ledge won't be an issue.

Otherwise if you are stuck with say IFS or little/no lift you will probably need at the least an LSD in the rear.

And when Daniel is wet, well that is a whole different story.

yea i have only been up it on a 4 wheeler and that is fun when its wet lol but i hope to give it a try with my jeep as soon as i get my new tires and have the people to help me up it
