rim question

thinking about buying some 33x12.50x15 md tires.i have a set of 15x8 rims. the tires i am looking at is the firestone dest m/t.
it says rim width needs to be 15x8.5. can i still mount these on a 15x8 rim. will i have trouble finding a place to mount them

No a 15x8 will be fine and you won't have trouble finding somewhere that can mount them, any tire place should do it. I'd actually recommend a 15x8 for a 12.5 inch wide tire, it helps the bead to stay on better when aired down.

x2. I've been running 12.50" wide tires on 8 inch rims for years and never had an issue with a shop not wanting to mount them. You'll be fine, and like mentioned you can run lower pressures on an 8" rim then you could on a 10"

Buddy works for firestone and is running the exact tires on 15x8s, no issues, pretty nice tires too.
 
getting them today around lunch time. will post some pics when on. going on a 92 ramcharger with 4" RC spring lift.
