Hopefully this has to be moved to the garage soon.....this guy was disgustingly hilarious and never seemed afraid to use his bland looking exterior to push the vulgarity limits of humor just a little further. If you only knew him from Full House or Americas Funniest nut shots, you are missing out!

Man....first Norm now Bob..... who's next.... Chappelle?

You are sensitive.....but that is ok.....no need to cry about it.

Bob was an undiscovered treasure of filth that I still think most of the world does not know about. Not until I watched half baked did I appreciate him for something other than Americans Dad (that wasn't Bill Cosby).

For the record, I don't particularly care when a celebrity dies, this just seemed like a good way to pull Saget clips out of the woodwork that is the internet without effort on my part.....like posting a Meme thread, then watching everyone harvest every meme they can from the interwebs for my personal entertainment.

I never really cared much for him. Then someone posted this link and I saw it this morning, and it further reaffirmed my dislike:

I never really watched the House show but I did watch AFV so saw him there a lot. So when he came to the comedy zone in Charlotte several years ago I got tix. I had never seen his stand up act. He was so vulgar and gross, I never liked him at all after that. I think he talked about diarrhea for 30 minutes mainly while everyone was eating there meal and joked about it while doing it.

When I only knew him as the guy from full house, this blew my mind.
that was kinda his schtick. On multiple occasions he talked about the duality of his acting & standup careers, and how he enjoyed the challenge of the different roles. And the extra humor factor of people getting that shock when they found out.

I will never understand why people care so much when a celebrity dies. People die everyday.
If any of these people never lived, my life would still be exactly the same.

Maybe I'm just insensitive.
Its not just you.I mean I hate it for the family and those that were close to him but come on man.

Now do Betty White. ;)

Now do Betty White. ;)
Me personally I feel the same way about her.She was funny and made folks laugh but, with the exception of her family, that doesnt make her any more important than anybody else.

I don't disagree, regarding either of them or most famous people in general, but know people who are probably in full on mourning over BW.

Im sure they are. There's still folks that get teary eyed over Elvis.I guess Im just a special kind of asshole but I just don't get it.

I can see being sad that an artist you appreciate is gone and won't create anything new. No more songs, movies, etc. I am still a little sad I won't every see Tom Petty in concert again.
e.g. Neil Peart.

Was definitely a little bummed about Robin Williams, but I get why he did it. Betty White was just an all around good person. They're just people though. Hell, if you wanna do much better than 99.99 years, I think you need a tortoise or a tree.

That being said, Bob Saget had scleroderma. Apparently, it turns your skin to a pretty hard substance. His sister had it and died at like 42 years old. I won't even lie...my first thought was he OD'd on coke with some hookers, but they said that there wasn't any evidence of drugs or anything in the hotel room in Florida. Hence the assumption of drugs and hookers, it was Florida, after all.

I think it all just depends on your connection with the person. I know I will probably catch some hell for this, but when Michael Jackson died, that sorta hit home with me. I remember the first CD I got was one of his and I remember thinking how global MJ was and that there were people who couldn't speak English that knew who he was and could probably sing all of his songs and probably third world countries that even knew who he was. I am one of those people though, that have never understood people's obsession with celebrities, like when I hear people talk about them like they know them personally or know everything about them.

Someone mentioned Robin Williams... That one was a little different for me. I thought about how much he made the world laugh and never realized how sad and depressed he truly was. Seems to be a pattern with funny people...

They make people laugh and feel good to mask their own misery. Plus, he had the onset of some debilitating disease and apparently didn't want to deal with it. I'm kinda thinking something along those lines for Bob Saget.

Saw a thing today about how millions of people around the world learned about the US and how to speak English from watching Full House and America's Funniest Home Videos.
