Anyone labeling his speeches as hate speech haven't listened to them, only their own pre-conceived opinion from what other people say about him (or took one sentence out of context and place their own spin on what was assumed). He literally asked for open dialogue from anyone with an opposing opinion. If you believed other than him, he wanted to know what you believed and why you believed it. If you brought facts and could back them up, he listened. He challenged. He even asked his audience to respect you. I have brought up my kids to have differing opinions, but to be able to back up what they believe with facts, not just what "someone said". He wasn't there to judge you, or change your mind, but he was really good at questioning your arguments and calling them out if they are nonsensical.

We live in a time of sound bites selective quotes out of context and confirmation bias. Not to mention the outright lies from a media pushing narratives
