How are the roads in your area? I am in Winston and my road is solid white and all the trees are glazed. I still have power which I am surprised.

Just cold rain in Lincolnton.

Slick, but driveable in a Dodge, lol. I got to work about 7:15am this morning. I passed an overturned plow truck on Sandy Ridge Rd. Somebody has a yard full of sand/salt now.

I was wondering what the road conditions were like between high point and Burnsville. Our power just went out and I was half way contemplating of making a run to the mountain house for the weekend. So how's I-40 and 226 & 19 from Marion to Burnsville?

@drkelly where on sandy ridge was that. I live on legacy drive.

Just lost power... I knew it would happen

Slick and slushy in Thomasville. Half inch of ice on the trees, transformers blowing up left and right. Still got power but no one around me does. Between the sirens, transformer explosions, trees falling and chainsaws going it sounds like the end of the world here lol.

^^^^Dang, that is some bad icing!

Road conditions in Kernersville were much better this morning than Tuesday morning.

Also had a decent size branch fall about 6" from the GTO last night due to the ice in Winston Salem

cold n wet here.... I do have a seriously large pond forming in the back yard where the PO had an above ground pool... I need to fill that crap in...

Just made the trek from West Wendover to Wentworth, NC The majority of roads in Rockingham County haven't been touched, 2-3" of heavy wet snow covering everything.

Pretty slick and slushy here in Winston. I passed more than one salt truck/grader with a plow on roads that hadn't been touched that weren't plowing anything, just riding around. Kinda pissed me off since those guys are probably making double overtime on my tax dollar.

Edit: No power at my house either

Power finally went out here about an hour ago. Not sure what I'm gonna do if it ain't on this evening.

Getting slightly over 1/2" of ice now. Still at 32* here. This has been a little worse than they predicted.

On top of it all, the 2 year old has the runs.

Just drove to the gym during lunch. Power out on some stop lights. Trees down in several places. I'm getting scared to go home and see what kind of damage is there, lol.

What makes that one even better is that the tree that limb came off of is on the drivers side of the TJ.
