Rock Corps 4X4 and The Flats, Annual Toy Run, and.... MUDBOG COMPETITION! October 24th-26th

Definitely pissed I'm not making it to this. I always miss these rides out there for some reason or another, damn Grad school keeping me too busy from getting out there! I really need to go wheel out there sometime!

I got there in time for the Auction, & Mud bog Race! The Auction was great, with fantastic deals, one of which I got! A lot of money raised for Toys! Then we enjoyed the Mud Bog, in which folks within 30 feet got some Mud, myself included!:D
Thanks to the Rock Corps, for a great Show, & Charity Event!

Well, I hate that we missed it. We had some rockstar ideas about loading up the trailer late Friday night and rolling out, but it didn't happen.

One of the biggest turnouts I've seen there in a long time. I'd say this was the biggest turnout of the year at The Flats. Great deals at the auction, good entertainment at the mud bog and hill climb, and when I left about 8:30 there was still 7-10 rigs doing some night riding. A great day for a great cause. Probably a lot more fun to be had tomorrow, too!

well, I said I was going to be easy on it, I was for a little while, I did however drive it on the trailer

Thanks to Jody Treadway, Paul Poplin for helping with the 14 bolt detroit issue, still havent figured that out

We brought 3 TJ's today and had a blast. One of the TJ's broke on the trail and it took us a while to get it off the trail this afternoon - blew a u joint in the front axle shaft and then that took out the lower ball joint. Lot of ratchet straps and some time later we had it off the trail. Will be coming back for sure.

I didn't take many pictures at all, but will try to get some of them uploaded.

The other axle on the front of his trailer if you saw it will be up at the shop soon as well probably (my D30HP was sitting on the trailer)

On behalf of Rock Corps 4X4 I would like to thank all those who took part in the success of this event.
The Rock Corps 4X4 members who give of their time, and of their resources. If not for you, it couldn't happen.
The contributors to the Auction, The race sponsors, and the mudsling sponsors, you all help bring in a lot of money and toys!
Most of all, we'd like to thank all of the folks who came out to ride, watch, participate, and to contribute. We all know that if you didn't show up, it would not have happened.

We all know that Christmas is the season for giving, and thanks to all the above, we will be able to put smiling happy faces on many children. I have long said, that I have never been associated with any other group who do as much for each other or for those outside of the wheeling group, as you all do.

From the bottom of our hearts
Thanks you!

Thanks guys for letting us come out. Glad you raised some toys and funds for a good cause. I finally got up "The hill" again after 6 months of getting denied. Highlight of my weekend... thanks again.

Gotta add...

A group of us went out Saturday "late" and had a ball. Almost....almost...made it over the top on No Way!
Was a great crawling night. Trails were dry. No carnage. Was a great ride with a great group of guys! :driver:

Even though our "Nitro Circus", on our way back to the campground, got us put in the penalty box!

BTW...

Congrats to Jason Gilleland winning the V8 hillclimb!

Oh...and I should mention...The runner up, Shane Brittain, ran both of his runs within 1/100 of a second of each other! Awesome runs!

I have the videos of you trying no way. If you'd just had that 4th tire on the ground you'd made it
