We are building a rock garden in Pinnacle, NC at Jomeokee Park. The campground has water and electric hookups & a dumpstation. RV's & tents are welcome. The bath house has hot/cold showers.

So far we have trucked in 41 tri-axle loads of Surry County granite boulders.

We will be at the Eldorado Outpost for the trail opening at Uwharrie National Forest this weekend. Please drop by and say hello
We'll post more information when we get the rock garden open to the public.

Thanks,

Tom Pace

Sounds good, are the rocks of any size? Hard to tell. The background scenery is fantastic!

Any chance you could upload some larger pictures? :)

sweet when will this be available to try out?

Matt, I'll get you some larger pictures and park my Jeep nearby as a reference.

Jason, we hope to be open within a few weeks. The garden is on the far end of the campground. You are more than welcome to come by and check it out. I would appreciate your opinion.

Fixed the photos to show the full size images.

Tom, it was great meeting and talking with you Friday and Saturday at the Jamboree... hope to see you again soon and looking forward to the chance to check out your place!

Tom,
It was great to meet you!
Good luck with the park.

With a little direction and some suggestions from some of some club elders, this will be a great place soon. Tom, I asked for some opinions today around the cart and several good ideas came up. I'll get in touch soon and run them by you. To the people that has never been to the campground, it is a extremely nice and well kept. This is family land that has been taken care of like a backyard. There is not a better view of Pilot Mountain period. Hot and cold showers are already on site! I personally started camping there with the Pace family over thirty years ago! James Belcher will agree, this will be a treat to see grow and become a place to cherish, especially as much riding land we have lost in the past. This will not happen overnight but it will be worth the wait!

i went out saturday and met alan....awesome place! i would love to see it grow for sure! The rock pile is awesome but trails will def bring a crowd! tom hit up jc on the board, john has been around a long time and could give a ton more insight that i can.

Located about twenty miles north of Winston-Salem, 1/4 mile off of hwy 52, very easy access!

Yeah, real local for us Winston folks. And they've got a great amphitheater and concession stand. Terry, they might even let you chuck dogs out a window for a change! ;) It's a fantastic place for a music event. I'm curious to see how the 4x4 crowd takes to it. I need to swing up there and see what's going on!
