Rockauto.com

I ordered a door striker, and a windshield wiper switch. Got both plus shipping was less than What the switch would have cost me at Autozone.
Basically, striker was free, kind of.
I never did see a place to put in the discount code though???

Searching the brake parts, looks like lil more than $100 savings over the quote I got from Advance today. calipers were real close in price, and won't have to deal with shipping the cores back, just take them back to local store next trip into town.

You put it in the "How did you hear about us" box.

Well, I ordered some more stuff today(addicted) put the code that was on the other post for April, and it didn't change the price at all.

It typically wont say if it accepted or not, you just have to look at the subtotals. If it doesnt work, I just search the web for another. There are normally some floating around.

They used to send you one after you placed an order, for your next order, but I havent recieved one in sometime.

@RockAuto Maybe they can chime in here?

My brake parts came in, so that's something that's gonna happen soon.

And wondering............
Am I the only one who looks to see what fridge/toolbox magnet shows up in the box? BEFORE, checking out the parts LOL

Love Rock Auto. Sign up for their updates...if you have your vehicle types registered with them, they will occasionally have closeout parts they've bought and they'll email you when they have them for your vehicle.

Wife's old Tahoe needed a fuel pump a few years back. My cost as a vendor was $630 at the dealership. Aftermarket pump was over $400.

Dealer parts guy gave me the Delco and GM #'s. Looked it up on RockAuto......$205, shipped, for the same exact part.

Now...a lot of things you can beat them on at Advance, by using an online coupon and picking it up in the store, but Rock has things Advance doesn't.

Got this today, and it said to share it, so I am sharing!

Seems like I've got a RockAuto or Amazon shipment coming in every week or so. And I've got a fairly large collection of those magnets on a cabinet in my shop.

Question..........

When you order something that has a core charge, do they send you a prepaid return mail label? Or do you(the customer) have to foot the return postage?

The parts I ordered.

edit: Amazon had the same parts as RockAuto. Same manufacturer and all but charged slightly more. Once you figure the shipping in it was going to be ~$11 more and it wouldn't be here till late next week. With Amazon I'll see it here in 2 days and saved a Hamilton.
