My dad's buddy told me that he had a few (2) sets of axles, the only thing i had to do is go get them about 300 miles away. Im not going to put them under my yota but is it worth it 4 the resale?

haha so i guess its worth it, i wouldnt try riping anyone off but i would try to make a few buck...times are hard lol

As long as they are toploaders, they are worth it. If it's the (real)old style, 40's or early 50's trucks then they are worthless.

I'm guessing you'd have around $200 in gas to get them, you'd still come out ahead. Especially if they are u joint frts (worth about $200 more apiece than ball & claw). It's easy to check when you get there, cut the boots or take the bigger boot band loose, turn the axle hard against it's stops, then put your hand in a wal mart bag/rubber glove or just your hand and feel inside. If it's u joint you can feel the cap and snap ring easy, then start cleaning off all that grease with the roll of paper towels you brought!

Thing is about these rockwells, when I'm out everybody wants some, when I have them everybody wants tires and rims which I have none.
