Going to spend the night in rocky mount - raleigh Saturday. Any ideals of something fun to do?

Which one is it? Rocky Mount or Raleigh? They're a good 45 minutes or an hour apart.

I will be farther east actually. I will be comeing to rocky mt first and then going towards raleigh. I could stop and do something at either place.

What are you into?The whole 501 glenwood area is insane on a Saturday if you are into live music,bars and 100's of people just milling around.Sometimes I go down there just to people watch.There's midnight bowling a little farther up Glenwood that can be fun,but that might be a little awkward if you are by yourself.

There's a big festival called SparkCon going on in downtown Raleigh this weekend. It's sort of a showcase of all types of art, performances, food and music from all over the southeast.
