Ok, so I need some opinions....What is your feelings about Rough Country. Is it crap, good, or whatever. Would you recommend it to someone else? If you got some personal experiences about this brand or others please let me know. I am really interested in getting peoples' opinions on this.

I think they are aptly named. What do you plan on putting their crap on?

I had it on a YJ. I didnt pay shit for it. I got what I paid for. Shit.

There FSC stuff is OK, like everyone says its rough as a cob but should deliver advertised lift.

see all above opinions...

however, i think the rough ride comes from the super stiff shocks that come with their kits. when lifting my brother's yj i notice that his re shocks were soft and could be moved by hand. it took forever to just pull out the rough country shocks enough to mount them.

I've got a 6" Rough Country X Series lift on my '01 TJ. The lift was on there when I bought it. Like the other posts said, it rides really rough. However, as awake posted, it might be due to the shocks. I plan to swap them out in the spring for some Bilsteins to see if it helps the ride.
