Rough day in Hollywood

As they say deaths come in 3's. I had a good friend who had a bet at her work yesterday who was next. They figured Patrick Swayzee or Nancy Reagan. EVERYBODY lost that bet! TOTALLY unexpected? I thought he had some kind of device he laid in to make him younger? Or was that rumor?

I am surprised by some of the negative comments in this thread. Maybe it is a generation thing. I grew up in the eighties, and MJ was bad to the bone. Everybody wanted the glove and the jacket. He was the man. I remember the first time I saw him do the moon walk. It was at a skating ring, and they were playing some performance of his on the wall. I remember being blown away by his performance.

definately a generational thing...I mean his music is timeless!!! But the man aways looked like a freak ever since I can remember (granted I was born in the mid 80's). I mean even in the "Bad" video he started to morph into something else. But that's neither here nor there...the man's a legend and should RIP!! I'll pour one out for homie MJ....

I will not ever forget the sex crimes he commited against multiple children. With that said I have even less respect for the parents and the courts who allowed this to happen.

Out of respect I will refrain from putting any of Kat Williams stuff on this thread.

Mike did have some good stuff especially the early stuff I will give him that. He was very popular all over the world and will be missed by many, probibly not most and not me. BTW I love the early Jackson 5 and some pre thriller stuff. I am also glad I picked up my G-n-R tapes instead of ever buying any of MJs stuff. Sorry to offend anyone with my earlier comments.

Regardless of what we think about the guy (and I am no fan) he was never convicted of any crimes. The only real detailed allegations came from a family who were proven liars in a court of law. And even still Jackson gave a 7 figure settlement to the child in the case because he felt the kids life had been ruined by the attention...

I don't know, he may have been a pedophile, he may not.
I have heard today expert testimony that says his behavior was 100% consistent with it and the complete opposite that he was so traumatized as a child that he just never realized how inappropriate totally innocent actions seem.

If you look back at some off the things he admitted to, you have to wonder why he would have if there was anything bad going on.

Either way the dude is dead and was a great musician....lets let him RIP....

I trust Larry King. As he has said today and yesterday, he was called to testify about what he heard at a resturant. It was two of the accusors chatting about how and what they were going to say in court. They had no idea that Larry King was there and could here them. The testimony was not allowed, because it was hearsay, but Larry King will swear to what he heard and was not allowed to testify to. which was, that these accusors were in kahootz(sp?) and it was all a fabrication.

My opinion...Great artist, great Entertainer, Brilliant mind, a little wierd to some's standards...Very Rich, The perfect Target for this type of accusation.
He was aquitted on all charges.

Sure he was wierd..that only added to the spectacle.

I was in middle school during his hayday but never wanted a glove or jacket and I for sure never done the moon walk.His music was good but I was never overly impressed with him.That might be due to the fact that I was 24 before I had cable.Before that it was free tv,all three channels of it and he never did many shows that I remember.
