My sister has a 93 Grand Cherokee Laredo, 4.0L, 2wd. It's idling rough in gear only. The transmission was 'rebuilt' recently by a mechanic who was not trans repair cert'd. Any thoughts on the problem? Over 200K miles. I read somewhere that idle air control valve has a tendency to cause idle problems on these things. If that is the problem, would it idle smooth in park?
