Rough Ride

I put a 9" lift on a 77 f150 (skyjacker) it was the whole kit, shocks, coil springs, and leaf springs. The ride is really rough and bouncy. Do i just need to break it in more? or is it going to stay like that. I know its offroading, and its going to be rough anyway, but its even rough driving down a paved road. Is there a way to make the ride a little smoother?

Upgrading the shocks to some monotube shocks would probably help.

I suggest Bilstein 5100's, they run about $75/each.

Also, you might try taking a leaf out of rear leaf pack.
