In May I am flying to Montana to get my 13' victory cross roads bagger to ride home.

Gonna take the scenic tour through Yellowstone, salt lake city & of course Colorado :D.

I am looking for advice on a GPS unit. I want one that I can enter my own rout. Would be great if I could plan on google maps & then import to the GPS unit.

Suggestions?

Our Liberty has Garmin NAV and we can enter in several destinations to make route. Not sure but I think you can do multiple destinations with a stand alone Garmin also

.... and then there's this option...

I have my rout planned in google maps on my desk top, but when I load the link into the google maps app on my phone it doesn't read it.

This may be my best option.

I like the Garmin Montana for my trips. Does all the regular stuff plus is built a little tougher for when you wander off the paved roads. Not that you'll do much of that on your bagger....

@TARider Can I program or import a google maps route into it?

The short answer is yes. The longer answer is its simple to send a destination from Google Maps which Garmin will then route. Sending a route requires a little extra work. You can also set up the route ahead of time in Garmins Base Camp software and load it easily.

@TARider this software come with the device?

Thanks!
