Sucker jumped on my roof & demanded to come home with me. About 25 years old. It's been down the river a few times. Scrapes & dents don't concern me much. There are some places that appear to have a crack thru at least the first layer. No apparent delamination. Any tips &/or tricks for addressing the cracks? Or should I just send it?

Have you any pictures of the crack?

I know from my years of repairing wear holes in my kayaks, there's a few cheap fixes that do actually work:

-Melted GM wire loom. Scuff the surface, light the wire loom with a flame and drip/dab it in. It's a compatible polymer and holds up great.
-Big blue industrial trash drums. Cut a piece out and mold it on with a propane torch.

There are Royalex repair kits, depending on what the damage is. I think I remember that Mad River has some pretty good repair info on their site.
